Set in the Oori Nature Reserve on the banks of the Crocodile River with picturesque views of the distant Magaliesburg Mountains, the venue offers a garden chapel set on the river bank, rolling lawns, mature trees, bushveld and grassland for spectacular photo-shoots.
Weddings
Enjoy either a garden wedding with tables or picnic blankets set outside or make use of the banqueting hall and dance floor designed for an up market reception, fit for a princess. We cater for small intimate weddings and can accommodate up to 100 guests or for larger numbers marquee hire is an option. We also offer the option and flexibility of you providing your own catering.
We focus on providing something different with a range of options to choose from e.g. the bride can arrive on horseback and the couple can go for a romantic sundowners / photo shoot in a hot air balloon launched in front of your guests.
We can have the coconut-crew cutting and prepping fresh coconut cocktails as welcome drinks. How about a firewalker and fire dancer to emphasise the spectacular country night or allowing your guests to send the bridal party a wish by releasing Chinese lanterns?
Other functions
Twenty Three on Riverside is not limited to weddings and also cater for conferencing, special occasions, team building etc. The sky is our limit. Give us the opportunity to wow your guests!
Accommodation
We offer accommodation in the form of three en suite deluxe rooms which have modern finishes. In addition to this we have two bridal suites. We can cater for 10 guests for overnight accommodation.
