Somerslus Guest House is situated in the security village of Irene. We are a four star establishment, graded by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. Somerslus Guest House is close to Pretoria, Centurion CBD, Midrand, Johannesburg and a 25 minute drive from OR Tambo International Airport. Easy access to major highways, Unitas hospital, SuperSport Park and other exciting venues.

Accommodation

All three luxurious rooms are en-suite, air-conditioned with under floor heating. All rooms have their own private entrances, two with private patios. The en-suite bathrooms are French style with a slipper bath, shower, under floor heating, soft white towels and pampering amenities. The extra length king size beds are made with crisp white linen.

The rooms have tea and coffee facilities, bar fridge, safe, desk facilities with wireless internet and LCD television with 17 DSTV channels. The third room has a private entrance. The en-suite bathroom has a spacious shower only.

The rooms are warm and cosy in winter, with electric blankets and under floor heating, while in summer the rooms are cool with air conditioners and double doors that open onto their private patios. Each room has an off street undercover parking with remote control access for the guest convenience.

Located close to the Centurion CBD, Southdowns Shopping Centre, as well as the Irene Village Mall. Nearby business centres, golf courses, restaurants, cinemas, theatres, hospitals, museums such as the Voortrekker Monument, Irene Concentration Camp graveyard and Smuts House.

The Irene Dairy Farm with its rustic and relaxed atmosphere has two restaurants, where dining under the big Oak trees are a pleasure. The Rietvlei and the Groenkloof Nature Reserves provide hiking trails, game and bird watching.

The Johannesburg and Pretoria zoos are a great idea for a family outing. For the sport fans, Loftus Versfeld and SuperSportpark Cricket Stadiums, are close by.
