Rock of Africa Guesthouse \ Accommodation in Eldoraigne

Rock of Africa Guesthouse Eldoraigne

Rock of Africa Guesthouse is situated in Eldoraigne, Centurion and offers guests a comfortable stay in a spacious and modern garden cottage. The unit is equipped with all the necessities for self-catering, but if breakfast is required, it is offered at an additional cost.

Guests can relax in the garden, cool off in the solar-heated swimming pool or make use of the braai / barbeque facilities and the lapa, while the children play on the trampoline.

Accommodation

Situated in a lovely large garden, the cottage offers one bedroom furnished with a comfortable Queen size bed and an en-suite bathroom that includes a separate bath and shower.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave oven, cutlery and crockery, tea and coffee facilities and a washing machine, and guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table.

The lounge is furnished with a comfortable single sleeper couch and is equipped with a TV with all DStv satellite channels. If needed, accommodation for a fourth person can be arranged by the addition of a single bed in the bedroom or living room. The cottage is situated slightly away from the main house, thus providing more privacy for guests.

Facilities

Guests have their own garage area, with automated garage door. Vehicles are thus parked off-street, and completely secure and hidden from view from the street. We are very security-conscious, and have a perimeter fence with electric fencing, beams, and cameras, to ensure peace of mind for guests.

Location & Attractions

Within walking distance is a small shopping centre that caters for most needs. Within a few kilometers there are several gyms, golf courses, shopping malls, Matsport Centre, Gautrain station, Unitas hospital and Supersport Cricket stadium. Slightly further afield are OR Tambo and Lanseria airports, the Voortrekker Monument, Cradle of Humankind / Sterkfontein caves, Union Buildings, nature reserves and Hartebeespoort Dam.

When building the pool in 2007, we made a rockery in the garden, using the rocks dug up from where the pool was to be. Upon completion and with random placement of the rocks, we noticed that the rockery formed quite an accurate profile of the continent of Africa! Hence it came to pass that the Rock of Africa Guesthouse was born. Today it offers families and business people the ideal stopover for exploring Centurion and its surrounds.
