Mellow Oaks Ruimsig
Mellow Oaks Function and Wedding Venue Complex is situated on the West Rand and centrally positioned to be easily accessible from Pretoria and Johannesburg. Our décor is unparalleled and is complimented by tantalizing food, all very special and created by our in-house chef.
The venue is renowned for exceptional service from the moment of arrival and we guarantee an unforgettable experience for you and your guests. Our support team is made up of a coordinator, floor manager, waiters, barmen, cleaners as well as an in-house chef and florist, all ensuring that every function is precisely executed.

Venues
Oxford Room (Monday Thursday Only):
Seating up to 130 people, plus a dance floor area of 6x5m² and a bar facility (minimum guests: 100)
Cambridge Room (Monday - Thursday Only):
Seating up to 120 people, plus a dance floor area of 5x4m² and a bar facility (minimum guests: 100)
The Hall (Weekdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays):
Seating up to 350 people and a dance floor area of 8x8m² with two bar facilities, this is the room for that very special wedding or corporate function (minimum guests: 100)
Sugar & Spice:
This is our venue for smaller functions, seating up to 80 people and is ideal for smaller weddings, and private parties. It has its own bar facility, where people can enjoy a drink before dinner. It has its own very special chapel as well (minimum guests: 50).
Chapel Hire
Up to 250 people can be seated in our Main Chapel. This is also the only chapel with a Porte Cochere to ensure that rainy weather wont be a problem. Availability: ½ hour prior to wedding, and one hour for the ceremony.
Our smaller chapel seats 80 people. Availability: ½ hour prior to wedding, and one hour for the ceremony.
Flowers
Qualified florists attend to all your needs and you are therefore not allowed to bring in your own flowers / florist.
Accommodation
The bridal suite is available for brides utilising the Main Hall, free of charge.
Accommodation facilities for guests are available within a radius of 5km from Mellow Oaks.
