Khayalethu Sports Accommodation in Hatfield, Pretoria is aimed at the youth travel market. Young travellers are afforded safe, clean and affordable dorm accommodation. We have successfully hosted sports teams, university groups, international volunteers, groups of four and more friends travelling together, sports training camp participants, coaches, teachers, school field trips, The American Peace Corp, international choir groups, an international student exchange group and of course 2010 world cup football fans visiting Hatfield in Gauteng.

Within easy walking distance of the University of Pretoria, University of Pretoria Sports Grounds - L.C de Villiers (200m), Hatfield Plaza (800m), Gautrain station (500m), guests will find Khayalethu Group Accommodation to be centrally located and the perfect Hatfield sports and group accommodation choice.

Accommodation

The smallest size group we accommodate is four together filling a dorm. The group accommodation has large dorm rooms with bunk beds in each. Groups can be accommodated in 2, 4, 6, 8 or 14 sleeper dorms, with ample shared bathroom facilities. There is a TV room with couches ideal for watching movies, playing cards and board games or casual chatting.

A kitchen is available for guests to use. A large fridge is available to guests, and the supermarket in the Hatfield Plaza is open for extended trading hours on week nights. Mr Delivery and certain Hatfield restaurants offer the convenience of a delivery service to guests who wish to have take-away meals delivered to them. There is also a braai (barbeque) area available for guests to use.

The paved parking in front of the property offers safe-off street parking for five cars or a small bus. Telkom WI-FI internet access provided, your own notebook / netbook is required to access this service. Rates can include or exclude a buffet breakfast.

Facilities

Washing lines and troughs are available to guests wishing to wash clothes, before the next leg of a trip. Laundry facilities are also available on the Hatfield Square. The large treed front garden makes for an excellent place to relax outdoors.

Location

Khayalethu Sports Accommodation is ideally located in the small residential suburb of Hatfield and East of Jan Shoba Street (previously Duncan Street), which is the main motorway through the suburb. Within walking distance you will find the Hatfield Urology Hospital, The Hatmed Travel Clinic, Loftus Rugby / Football stadium, Maritimo Football field, HPC (high performance centre at LC de Villiers Sports Grounds), Canadian Embassy, USA Embassy, British Embassy and German Embassy, Union Buildings, Brooklyn Police Station (SAPS), Tuks Golf Academy, Rautenbach Hall, Tukkies athletics track, LC de Villiers Rugby Fields, LC de Villiers swimming pool and climbing wall and Hillcrest municipal swimming pool.

Enjoy a pizza from our wood burning fire on certain evenings of the week. Larger groups can request us to specially open for them. This is dependant on the size of the group.
