Intundla Game Lodge \ Accommodation in Boekenhoutskloof

Intundla is situated an easy 30 minute (29km) drive north-east of Pretoria, nestled in the beautiful Bobbejaansberg Mountains. There is a wide variety of wildlife and 233 different bird species. The Cullinan Golf Course and Cullinan Diamond Mine and Town are close by.

Thoughtfully situated, the lodge is flanked by mountains and nestles on the bank of a large dam teaming with black bass. Bird watchers are treated to some 230 species of indigenous bird life.

A waterside cocktail deck and swimming pool provides the perfect setting to experience the spectacular view over sundowners. Special evening events may be held at the Boma by firelight where authentic cuisine can be sampled at leisure. The exquisitely stocked wine cellar seats 30 while an on-site restaurant provides a succulent buffet every breakfast, lunch and dinner.

ACCOMMODATION

There are 38 luxury en-suite thatched chalets. Each chalet has a telephone, ceiling fan, heater, umbrellas, adapter plug / mosquito plug / oil lamp. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, fruit and Panado are available. The following are available on request: hair dryer, stocked mini-fridge, room drops/ gifts.

DINING

All meals are served buffet style in either the thatched restaurant overlooking the dam or a potjie / braai held in the boma (weather permitting). We also have a wine cellar for smaller private dinners or functions.

ACTIVITIES

Included in the package: game and nature walks, mountain climbing, fly-fishing, canoeing, volleyball, croquet, swimming pool, DSTV, darts in the bar and a cosy lounge with a selection of books, videos and games.

Optional Extras: clay pigeon shooting, abseiling, game drives, eco-bug challenge, 4x4 trail, driving range, archery, karaoke and theme evenings, survival and tracking, raft building and many more activities are available.

CONFERENCES

Intundla Game Lodge offers a unique setting for conferences, workshops and teambuilding exercises. Eight venues accommodate between 24 and 220 people. Everything from murder mystery evenings to serious motivational exercises can be arranged as day trips or 24 hour sleep-over events.
