Stay a few days with us, relax at our rock pool, enjoy a drink while you listen to nature or explore the nearby Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve by horse or car.

Ikhamanzi is also close to the Midvaal Race Track (3km), the Bridgestone Adrenalin Raceway, the Henly Aeromodelers Flying Field (+/- 6km), as well as the River Square Shopping Mall with various restaurants.

Ikhamanzi offers different types of accommodation:

Okavango:
A double room with en suite bathroom (with shower), fridge, TV, tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer, safe and patio.

Induku:
Double room (twin beds), with a 3rd bed in loft, bathroom with shower, fridge, TV, tea and coffee facilities, safe, hairdryer, own patio.

Maluti:
Double room (queen size bed), on the 1st floor, bathroom with spa bath and shower, fridge, TV, tea and coffee facilities, safe, hairdryer, own patio.

Safari Tents:
Experience the “bushveld” just on Johannesburg’s doorstep in our brand new additions:

Kalahari:
Safari tent, two single beds, en-suite bathroom with shower, TV, coffee and tea facilities, hairdryer, fan, fridge and own patio.

Caprivi:
Safari tent, double bed, en-suite bathroom with Victorian bath and shower, TV, coffee- and tea facilities, hairdryer, fan, fridge and own patio.

Notes:
Safe parking under roof on the premises is possible. Children of all ages are welcome but please note that there is an open dam and pool on the property. Parents are requested to supervise their children at all times.

Activities and Attractions

As we are situated in the south of Johannesburg it is ideal to continue your tour from here and visit Golden Gate National Park, the Drakensberg Mountains, Lesotho or drive further south to the KwaZulu Natal coastline and Durban.

Daytrips to the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg or a visit of the Cradle of Humankind are also possible. We will assist you with requirements such as car hire, booking of accommodation in the nature reserves or guesthouses on your ongoing trip.

The climate is very pleasant. In summer it is warm, but will cool down now and then by means of occasional scattered rain showers. The winter is dry, generally mild to warm during the day but cold in the mornings and evenings.
