Garden Place Orchards
Garden Place is a haven of tranquility centrally situated in the exclusive suburb of Orchards. We are just around the corner from trendy Norwood with its bustling restaurants and specialty shops. Garden Place is only 10 - 15 minutes drive to Rosebank, Sandton and Eastgate, South Africa's premier business and shopping centres. There is a free shuttle available within 10 kilometres of Garden Place - early morning and late afternoon Monday to Friday.
Accommodation
This 4 star luxury accommodation complex offers you 16 self catering cottages and studios, in addition to nine single / double Standard Rooms units. The 4 star luxury cottages consist of a large bedroom with double or twin beds plus a queen size wall bed in the lounge. The tastefully furnished self-catering modern apartments sleep up to four people. The standard rooms having either a twin or double bed, have a special charm being very spacious and very appealing.
All the 25 rooms are fully equipped with air conditioning, fridges, complimentary tea / coffee daily, bathroom en-suite, power showers and baths, flat screen TV with 15 channels and Wi-Fi available throughout. There is a dedicated Internet Cafe open 24 hours a day.
There are two swimming pools. We also provide dry cleaning and laundry services. The accommodation and entertainment areas are for the enjoyment of all, so opt for privacy or company, whatever you prefer.
Breakfast and Dining
Your host will pamper you with inviting and sumptuous breakfasts (optional) or you may prefer the Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Plan at very reasonable rates. The dining room serves three meals a day plus an inexpensive Patio Menu for light meals throughout the day, seven days a week. Both lounges and dining room have been furnished with all the comforts of home, and the stunning view of the garden will certainly give a relaxed feeling to either start or finish the day.
Conferences
Our Conference Centre is set in the beautiful gardens of Orchards with magnificent trees, a variety of birds giving an unusual feel of tranquility and peacefulness. With three conference rooms to choose from, the Tulip Room is the largest seating up to 64 people banqueting style, 80 delegates cinema, 36 U-shape and 42 classroom.
The other two rooms, the Jasmine and the Marigold Rooms can accommodate smaller groups of up to 10 - 20 respectively. All the venues are fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. We have secure parking in excess of 60 cars. There is 24 hour security seven days a week.
