Fern Glen Guest Cottages \ Accommodation in Ferndale

For business or leisure, we invite you to relax in one of five well-equipped, self-catering cottages. We are situated on a large secure property in Ferndale, Randburg within easy reach of the Northgate Coca Cola Dome, Randburg Sports Complex, Rhema Church, The Healing School, major shopping Malls, Olivedale and Sandton Clinics (each five minutes away).

Gold Reef City is an easy 15 to 20 minutes away against the major traffic. Sandton Convention Centre is approximately 12 minutes away and Morningside and Sunninghill Clinics, each about 15 minutes away.

ACCOMMODATION

All units have a covered parking bay, a patio, small Bar-B-Q and TV. Towels and bedding are provided. Kitchens have all the necessary appliances, utensils and crockery, pots and pans. All units have a hair dryer, iron and ironing board and a Fan/Heater. The use of a laundry for personal laundry is available for a reasonable rate. No smoking is allowed inside any unit. Breakfast is and optional extra. We have 5 self-catering units as follows:

The Studio:
The Studio, is a 2-sleeper consisting of one large room and a bathroom with shower. It has two single (twin), beds, a dining area and a kitchenette. The kitchenette has a small fridge, microwave and one hotplate.

The Apartment:
The Apartment is similar to the Studio except it has a bath with shower overhead.

The Mews A:
The Mews A is a 3-sleeper unit consisting of one large room and a bathroom with shower. It has two single (twin), beds, plus a single sleeper couch in the lounge area and dining area and a kitchenette. The kitchenette has a small fridge, microwave and one induction hotplate. There is also a private Patio.

The Mews B:
The Mews B, is a 2-sleeper unit consisting of one large room and a bathroom with shower. It has two single (twin), beds, a lounge area and a kitchenette. The kitchenette has a small fridge, microwave and one induction hotplate. There is also a private Patio.

The Cabin:
The Cabin is a 4-sleeper with one bedroom, bathroom with shower and large lounge / dining area / kitchenette. The bedroom has a two twin beds and the lounge has two single sleeper couches. The kitchenette has a small fridge, two hot plates and a microwave.

The Suite:
The Suite is a 4-sleeper with one bedroom, bathroom with bath / shower and large lounge / dining area. The bedroom has twin beds and adjacent to the dining area is another set of twin beds. The full kitchen has a fridge / freezer, hob with four hot plates, a microwave and an electric frying pan.

The Suite - Apartment Inter-leading:
The Suite is a 7 sleeper unit with 2 bedrooms each with 2x twin beds, 2 bathrooms, both with bath and shower over-head, with 2 additional twin beds adjacent to the dining area and a single sleeper couch in the lounge. The kitchen has a family-size fridge / freezer, 4 plate hob and microwave, electric frying pan, and is fully equipped for self-catering. There is a covered BBQ area.

The Cottage:
The Cottage is a 5-sleeper with two bedrooms, one bathroom with shower, lounge / dining area and full kitchen. The main bedroom has a double bed and the large 2nd room has two twin and two single beds. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, two hot plates, an electric frying pan and microwave.

All units have a covered parking bay, patio, small Bar-B-Q, DSTV, hair dryer, Iron and the use of a laundry for personal laundry at R50 per Load wash and dry DIY. Towels and bedding are provided. Kitchens have all the necessary appliances etc. All units have a safe and a wireless hotspot.
