Elton Hill Guest Cottage is situated in the quiet leafy suburb of Elton Hill. It is located in a secure, boomed off area. The cottage is close to the business hubs of Johannesburg, Melrose Arch, and Sandton City.
Accommodation
Elton Hill is a self-catering cottage for a family or the busy executive that requires privacy, peace and a tranquil setting to unwind. Main bedroom comforts include suede head board, comforel non allergenic duvet and pillows. Wardrobes are more than generous with ample hangers and place to hang clothes.
The study area is part of main bedroom with a large desk and night lamp to work on. The bathroom has shower, bath, toilet and double basin with large airy windows looking onto a courtyard garden. The bathroom is shared with the smaller second bedroom. The 2nd bedroom is smaller but can accommodate either a double bed or 2 single beds. A camp cot for babies is available on request.
Facilities
The kitchen, with all amenities is open plan, facing onto dining room and lounge area which is comfortable and stylish, with large sofa in soft luxurious suede fabric. An additional Zen type, suede fabric sofa fills the room, which doubles up as a double sleeper bed. There is a TV with DVD player, VHS and DSTV.
The lounge has French doors that open fully, onto a private patio with table and chairs for your relaxation and convenience, and lightly covered shade, made from wattle and supported by wrought iron frame to let in dappled light and take in the cool shade.
The herb garden just off the patio and below a bedroom window is placed there for your culinary enjoyment and sweet aromas. The patio is also surrounded by balustrade with steps leading off to the enclosed carport area where guests, who have their own transport, park and simply exit the car and walk through the wattle gate onto the paved pathway.
The property has a parking bay and a private covered parking bay for 2 cars in tandem via automated gate from the street. There is easy access between parking and cottage to load and offload. The garden has well established indigenous trees, White stinkwood or Celtis Africana, with lovely shaped and curved stems, these trees have regular bird visitors feasting on the berries in summer. The garden area is private and walled off.
Entrance to the cottage from the street, is through a locked security gate and is private and separate.

Attractions and Activities
There are excellent sidewalk restaurants and shops in nearby Melrose Arch, with 100 new upmarket shops and the largest Woolworths in South Africa. Blue Bird Shopping Centre is within walking distance and has all facilities including a pharmacy. The Rosebank African craft Market, Sandton City and Atholl Square are all in close proximity.
Wanderers Cricket Stadium, Wanderers Club House and Green for a round of golf are nearby. Planet Fitness and Virgin Active Gym are in the area. There is easy access to M1 Motorway North and South bound.
