Our 4 Star Lodge (Tourism Grading Council SA) is the ideal choice for guests seeking the personal charm that can be found only in smaller establishments. Situated in the tranquil wooded suburb of Dowerglen, Egoli Lodge is ideally located for those guests needing to be close to Oliver Tambo International Airport (formerly Johannesburg International Airport) which is only 9.7km away. From Egoli there is also easy access to the city, restaurants and entertainment via the Eastern by-pass freeway. Two main shopping malls are within easy reach namely Greenstone Mall and Eastgate Mall.
Accommodation
Accommodation at Egoli comprises of 17 luxurious en-suite rooms, enabling us to accommodate 34 guests at any one time. Our old penthouse has been renovated to allow for two en-suite units which could also be used as a complete family unit with a small kitchen and lounge. All rooms and communal areas are non-smoking areas however a smoking area is available just outside reception.
Decorated in true African style, all our rooms are elegant and spacious and are equipped with:

Of our 17 rooms, four are equipped with Queen Sized beds and the remaining 13 are equipped with two x three quarter beds each. The rooms in our newest wing are equipped with a kitchenette which is ideal for those guests staying for longer periods of time.

Our lodge is fully licensed and has a comfortable bar and lounge area just off the main dining room which is equipped with a big screen television and where guests are welcome to relax and enjoy a drink after a busy day. There are various breakaway spots / meeting rooms located throughout the lodge for guests wishing to have a change of scenery.
Although Egoli Lodge is a Bed and Breakfast establishment, given enough notice, a cooked dinner can be arranged, on request.
