Laying next to the river bank, embraced by majestic trees and a warm, intimate ambience, Ducks Country House and Venue was previously the family home of Johann and Irma Coetzee and their four children.
With Irmas unique style and creative touch, she successfully converted their family home with its beautiful garden and romantic garden cottages, into a warm and welcoming guest house. Owning and managing Ducks Country House and Venue for the past 15 years, Irma has deposited something extraordinary into this beautiful location.
André, eldest of the four Coetzee children, has recently taken over ownership of Ducks Country House and Venue. Together with his wife, Melanie, they have expanded existing facilities to accommodate conferences, intimate celebrations and weddings.
We would love for you to come and share in our joy, and witness to this truly blissful venue!
Accommodation
We offer spacious, stylish and well equipped manor house suites or romantic garden log cabins, dressed with style, comfort and intimacy. Communal areas offer style and comfort with a warm ambience.
Weddings & Celebrations at Ducks
Surrounded by trees with large doors opening unto the garden, The Dining Room is an ideal venue for intimate celebrations and wedding receptions.
The Tree-top Chapel situated in the heart of our garden, is ideal for intimate wedding ceremonies and dedications.
Conferences and Theatre at Ducks
The Red Door Conferences and theatre venue is well equipped and ideally suited for small-group conferences, workshops and product launches. We also host live performances, movies, music and kiddies theatre.
