Bit O’ Bush is situated a mere 3km from OR Tambo (Johannesburg) International Airport. Bit O’ Bush is ideally located for business and leisure travelers passing through Johannesburg, arriving late or/and departing early.

Bit O’ Bush is centrally and conveniently positioned near all the main routes, the perfect start and end to a tour or safari through Africa. Because of its tranquility and peacefulness, Bit O’ Bush is also the ideal place for a home base to explore the treasures of Southern Africa.

Accommodation

The spacious Bit O’ Bush guest rooms are architecturally designed and beautifully appointed, with comfortable beds and exquisite linen. Bit O’ Bush is family friendly and welcomes children. The tranquil, indigenous garden, with pool, is bird friendly and draws a great number of birds.

Some rooms can cater for up to 4 people. We accept payments through the Paybridge system but do not have a credit card machine on the premises.

Facilities

Public areas consist of DStv lounge with books, radio and chess table. There are separate breakfast and dining rooms. Two swimming pools. Enough secure parking. Shuttle service from and to the OR Tambo International Airport, laundry and dinners available on request and not included in room rate.

Activities

Activities entail lounging around the swimming pool and watching a great variety of birds, reading, playing chess or watching television in the lounge. Within a radius of 200 meters it is possible to access gyms, health and beauty spa’s and salons, a variety of sport facilities like golf, bowls and squash, restaurants and take-away outlets, super markets and shopping malls. Visiting the Emperors Casino and resort to watch a show, eat at one of a dozen restaurants, visit a spa, do shopping or have a bit of fun gambling.
